    The Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous

    Known as the "Big Book," the basic text of Alcoholics Anonymous has helped millions of people recover from alcoholism since the first edition appeared in 1939.     How It Works Global Step Workbook

    This workbook acts as a companion to the How It Works Global program, designed to assist individuals on their path to recovery from alcolohism and addiction.

    Members of the group can use this workbook during their progress through the How It Works application of the Alcoholics Anonymous Twelve Steps of recovery, as a printed version of the worksheets used in group meetings.

    It also features the readings and meditations used in the daily HIWG meetings, all part of our structured approach to recovery.

    Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions

    Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions explains the 24 basic principles of Alcoholics Anonymous. Known as the "Twelve and Twelve,” the book dedicates a chapter to each Step and each Tradition. Chapters provide an interpretation of these principles for personal recovery and the organization of the group.

Share magazine

Share is a monthly AA Fellowship magazine, written by alcoholics for alcoholics, and is also known as their ‘meeting between meetings’. It’s great to have on hand when you can’t get to a meeting, are travelling, or just have a spare moment to read.

Copies are available for purchase at in-person meetings but you can also have it sent to you each month from the General Service Office in York or buy individual electronic copies to download.
